In each musician’s profession, there are the songs that stand out among the many relaxation. Maybe it is a track that modified all the pieces for them, the track they grew to like, or the track that was the toughest to put in writing.
These are the songs we wish to study extra about on Backtracking, a brand new World Cafe function. The premise is straightforward: We’ll give artists an extended record of prompts they’ll select from. Then, they’re going to look again by way of their catalog and decide the track that matches greatest. They will inform us the tales behind them and carry out them stay.
In our newest installment, David Grey joins us to speak in regards to the track he has an advanced relationship with, the track that makes him cry, and why he loves songwriting a lot.
